Muriqui Ceramica is the fruit of research on a wide range of references found throughout Brazil. It is born of the multiplicity of what we usually call "Brazilian Identity."

In the midst of such cultural abundance, we have opted to value the simplicity of the most organic and authentic shapes of our roots, starting from some objects found throughout the whole Brazilian territory.

For what goes beyond its production in the art studio, "Muriqui" is an idea; it seeks to give soul to the trivial, to renew the functional, so that man could be re-introduced to his own culture. The rethinking the earth starting at the potters hands.

In an encounter between the primitive and the contemporary, our pieces talk to each other with humor, sensuality and poetry, which are characteristics also always present in the personality and at the Brazilian table.
